Ellavoz Shared Values Opportunity Fund Will Soon Close on Fund II of Trenton Esperanza Apartments
The project is providing Trenton residents with affordable living options that come with a host of amenities.
NEWARK, N.J., September 30, 2020 (Newswire.com) – Ellavoz Shared Values Opportunity Fund is working with non-profit Isles, Inc. to transform Wood Street and the Trenton Esperanza Apartments in downtown Trenton.
The Fund is a partnership between Ellavoz Impact Capital, a social impact Qualified Opportunity Fund management firm, and New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC), the state’s largest community development financial institution.
“We’re excited to move forward and grow closer to closing on fund II of this project,” said Robert Hutchins, President and Managing Director, Ellavoz Impact Capital. “These apartments will provide people with spacious living options at an affordable price.”
This project includes 46 apartments across 15 buildings, one of which was the transformation of the former United Building & Loan Association.
The apartments are intended for low-to-moderate-income tenants who are supported through Section 8 programs.
The spacious one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans include central heating and cooling and other amenities.
The unique location of the Trenton Esperanza Apartments provides easy access to downtown, employment opportunities, transportation, the Trenton Public Library, and the area’s trending art scene.
