Mission
To create a network of accredited investors who embrace the shared values concept and provide them access to direct investment opportunities. Our investment strategy seeks both market returns and positive social impact.
What the Network Does
The Ellavoz Impact Angel Network represents high net worth individuals, business entities and family offices who believe investing in underserved communities will result in desirable financial and social impact returns on their investment. The collective experience, resources, and character of our Impact Angel investors will change lives for the better, build communities and leave a personal legacy for future generations.
We are unique in that we provide early stage funding to social impact start-ups for young entrepreneurs. Before funding these young entrepreneurs, we require that a solid business model and positive social impact plan are in place.

Boomers to Zoomers - NJIT New Business Competition
Ellavoz Impact Capital, in partnership with NJIT, participates in the Business Competition, with the “ELLAVOZ 5X Prize”.
Ellavoz, though its Impact Angel Network donates $15,000 to the Foundation at NJIT with $12,000 being awarded to one of the student finalists in the New Business Competition. The balance of the donation supports ongoing program expenses, including personnel, for the New Business Model Competition and subsequent Lean Startup Accelerator.
Ellavoz Angels participate as judges in the student track of the competition, estimated at seventy applicants per year. A committee of judges including Ellavoz representatives, will determine the three student finalists along with awarding the 5X Prize to the winner.
Additionally, a number of the finalists are invited to an Ellavoz Angel Investor Pitch Night. Angels may choose to offer mentorship or fund the startup.
Dr. Jian Wang - Special Advisor to the Impact Angel Network
Jian is currently Vice President and Head of Digital Innovation at Q2 Solutions in Bethesda, MD. Jian served previously as President and CEO of Biofortis, a Bioinformatics software company. Jian earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington and his BS, in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
